2024-25 Madrigal Auditions

Audition Process:

Welcome! We are so excited that you are interested in auditioning for Madrigals for the 24-25 school year! Barrington High School has a long history of strong madrigal ensembles that are regularly sought out by district 220 staff, community leaders, and organizations for performance opportunities all over the greater Barrington area. The madrigals perform dozens of times throughout the holiday season. The madrigal program offers opportunities for musicianship and vocal development, performance opportunities, and lasting friendships. The madrigals are the primary fundraising vehicle for the choral department as well, bringing in tens of thousands of dollars annually. Funds are used to support exceptional experiences for all students in the choral program. 

Madrigal auditions will take place during choir classes the second week of October. These are placement auditions that will allow all students to participate. Students will be placed in ensembles by age and ability.
